Internal Camera Syndrome

Internal Camera Syndrome

ICS 2V5.04

ICS is a pattern of compulsive self-performance under continuous perceived observation. Every gesture is mediated by an imagined audience. The self dissolves into a character—optimized for relevance, shaped by systems and metrics. Authentic impulse flattens into performance. Life is staged for validation, driven by the fear of invisibility or NPC status. Existence becomes a broadcast.

SYMPTOMS

  • Compulsive self-narration

  • Public-facing posture

  • Scripted real-time behavior

  • Spontaneity suppression

Each mirror is a functional artifact: reverse laser-etched mirror acrylic, illuminated via lightbox, mounted with precision-cut acrylic hardware. Hand-assembled and made to order. Designed for wall display.

Smaller mirrors contain an internal rechargeable battery. Larger mirrors have an external rechargeable battery mounted to the back of the unit. Powered via USB-C. Runtime: ~3–4 hours on full charge.

Because each piece is individually produced, we’ll notify you directly if shipping timelines require adjustment.
